It isn’t very often celebrities give home tours on their social media, especially when they aren’t trying to sell the property. But Gigi Hadid did just that on Saturday, sharing photos on her Instagram grid and Instagram Story of her apartment in New York City’s NoHo that she spent a year decorating and curating.
According to the New York Post, Hadid actually owns two units in the building that she lives in and reportedly plans on combining them. Her first apartment, bought for $3.97 million back in 2015, is a two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom unit with a chef’s kitchen. The second unit, a $5.82 million townhouse in the building, is three bedrooms, 3.5-bathroom, and includes a landscaped private terrace with a fire pit, barbecue grill, and outdoor refrigerator. Hadid quietly bought the unit in December 2018, according to the Post. It appears to be the unit she’s showcasing on her Instagram, as her first apartment isn’t two stories.
She enthusiastically shared the final results of a year’s worth of work on her Instagram. She wrote, “Spent all of last year designing and curating my passion project / dream spot. Of course it all came together right before quarantining out of the city…. but I’m excited for the time I’ll get to spend enjoying all the special corners that were made with a lil help from some of my favorite creatives (tap!) who embraced my ideas and didn’t call me crazy. 💛 ++ my mamma:) who is the greatest homemaking-sounding-board I could ask for (she called me crazy when required) ☺️ grateful to and for all.”
